F. Warrington Gillette—best known as the first Jason to kill in the iconic horror franchise Friday the 13th Part II—is a classically trained actor, screenwriter, producer, and now novelist. A SAG member since 1982, Gillette studied under the legendary Lee Strasberg in N.Y. and L.A.

In 2019, he was honored with the “Sin City Icon of Horror” award. And just four years ago, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences held a special tribute to horror cinema—awarding Gillette’s unforgettable window-smash kill scene from Friday the 13th Part II the title of “Greatest Horror Scene Ever Filmed.” That moment cemented his legacy in the horror film genre forever.

Originally from Maryland’s rural horse country, Warrington , or “ Warry” is an accomplished rider who attended the all boy’s prep academy, Gilman School and later Villanova University as a business major. As a life-time lover of horses, with his background in hunting and steeplechase racing, he is still in the saddle playing polo in Maryland and in the horse capital in Wellington, Florida.

After years working in the entertainment industry on both coasts, he shifted into finance, working on Wall Street as an institutional broker, investment advisor handling international investment funds before entering commercial and luxury real estate. Today, he represents elite residential and commercial clients at Compass, USA’s leading real estate brokerage firm, based in Palm Beach and in South Florida.

He is the step-great-grandson of Palm Beach heiress Marjorie Merriweather Post, and the great-grandson of her husband Joseph Edward Davies, American lawyer and diplomat, the 2nd U.S. Ambassador to Soviet Union and special advisor to President Harry Truman.

He is the namesake son of legendary Palm Beach socialite, “ Big Warry” known for his bespoke fashion, unforgettable parties, and high-society flair. His namesake grandfather, F. Warrington Gillet Sr., was the highest scoring American Ace in World War I, flying in a Sopwith Dolphin Bi-plane, flying for the RAF. As a top Ace he was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross and the Belgian Croix de Guerre, known for his many “out of control kills”.

Now, Warrington brings together all of these incredible family genes, life experiences—and story telling skills, into his explosive debut “Killer-Thriller “ novel Bloody Social.

A savage odyssey of love, revenge, and betrayal, in high society, inspired by the real-life sudden death of his own father on Friday the 13th .

A journey where Hitchcock meets Tarantino and Bond set in in a social world of

Criminals in Couture. Now “Jason” will be handing out revenge ice cold.
